About Bravo Hearing Centre
Bravo Hearing Centre is a family-owned hearing care clinic, established in 2004. We serve adults and seniors in Etobicoke, Mississauga, Toronto, and the GTA. Our main clinic is in Etobicoke’s Islington Village, and our second clinic is in Mississauga’s Cracovia Square Medical Building.
We are a boutique clinic. That means one-on-one appointments, clear explanations, and personalized hearing solutions rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations. Our advice is based on each person’s hearing test results, communication needs, lifestyle, comfort, and budget.
Our goal is to help you enjoy better hearing and confident living. We support you through your whole hearing journey, from your first hearing test to fitting, adjustments, and ongoing care and support.
Hearing Services
See the full list on our Hearing Services page.
Hearing Tests and Hearing Assessments
We offer hearing tests and personalized hearing assessments for adults and seniors. We explain your results in plain language and talk through your options. Common reasons to book include trouble following conversations, turning up the television, struggling in noisy places, asking people to repeat themselves, and finding phone calls hard.
Hearing Aid Selection and Fittings
We offer hearing aids from several well-known manufacturers so you can compare styles and features. Styles include behind-the-ear (BTE), receiver-in-canal (RIC), in-the-ear (ITE), in-the-canal (ITC), and completely-in-canal (CIC). Features can include rechargeable batteries, Bluetooth connectivity, and background noise management. Every hearing aid is professionally fitted and programmed for you. Browse our Hearing Aid Products.
Programming, Adjustments, and Follow-Up Care
Getting used to hearing aids takes time, so we keep supporting you after your fitting. We can adjust listening comfort, volume, sound quality, and performance in specific places. Learn more about Hearing Aid Support.
Hearing Aid Maintenance and Repairs
We help with cleaning, inspections, battery and wax guard changes, earmold adjustments, and minor on-site repairs. We can also help you decide whether your current hearing aids can be adjusted or repaired, or whether it is time for a replacement.
Custom Hearing Protection
We offer custom-moulded hearing protection for workplace noise, musicians, concerts, recreation, swimming, and sleeping. See Hearing Protection.
Earwax Removal
We offer in-clinic earwax removal for adults. See Earwax Removal Services.
Hearing Aid Trial Periods
We offer trial periods on selected hearing aids so you can try them in your everyday listening environments before you decide. Trial availability and terms may vary.
Accessories, Upgrades, and Education
- Batteries and accessories: Batteries, cleaning tools, wax guards, streamers, TV connectors, and remotes. Shop in our E-Store.
- Upgrades: If you already wear hearing aids, we can review how they are working and talk about newer technology.
- Family and communication support: We explain test results, set realistic expectations, and share communication tips with clients and their families.
- Hospital visits: For clients who cannot get to our Etobicoke clinic, we offer hospital visits.
- Online hearing self-test: Try our Hearing Self-Test. It is for information only and does not replace an in-person hearing assessment.
Does OHIP Cover Hearing Tests?
OHIP generally covers hearing assessments only when a physician, such as an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist, performs them, or when they take place in a hospital. These usually start with a referral from your family doctor. Hearing tests at private hearing clinics are generally not covered by OHIP.
Funding for hearing aids is available through programs such as ADP, WSIB, and VAC, depending on eligibility. We can help you understand your options.
Hearing Aid Funding and Support Programs
Eligibility and coverage are decided by each program. We help eligible clients understand the requirements and complete the paperwork.
Ontario Assistive Devices Program (ADP)
We help eligible Ontario residents understand ADP hearing aid funding, hearing aid options, and how the application works.
Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)
We provide hearing services for eligible Canadian veterans, including assessments, hearing aid selection and fittings, adjustments, follow-up care, and help with VAC paperwork. See VAC Hearing Services.
Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
We help eligible workers with hearing assessments, documentation, hearing aid selection and fittings, and ongoing support. See WSIB Hearing Aid Services.
Hearing Aid Brands We Offer
We offer hearing aids from eight well-known manufacturers. Availability of specific models and features may vary. See all of our Hearing Aid Products.
